The athlete competed this afternoon in the sixth meeting in L’Hospitalet after recovering from injury to the rectus femoris in his right leg and discomfort in the popliteal fossa of his left leg.
Xavi ran the 100m, finishing second place and first in his category, with a time of 12.69s and a 4.9m/s headwind. He also participated in the long jump, finishing first with a best jump of 5.99m.
“I am very happy with the results overall. I didn’t expect to jump so far and the wind in the 100m was a pity, but I am especially glad because I could compete without pain or discomfort”, he said.
