XAVI REACHES THE MINIMUM FOR AN AUTOMATIC (A) BERTH!

This weekend, the Championship of Spain was held in San Javier (Murcia) for communities of people with disabilities.

Xavi could not have started the competition out better, as in the first triple jump he attained a measurement of 12.55m, exceeding the minimum for an A berth in London. In the long jump he surpassed the minimum for a B berth with a best distance of 5.79m and finally, in the 100m, he managed to come in below 12s in the first competition, with the stopwatch stopping at 11.98s.

According to Xavi, he was satisfied because the week before the competition he came down with a sore throat and didn’t know how he would perform, but the result turned out very well indeed.
